Deep space climate observatory (DSCOVR)

Definition of Deep space climate observatory (DSCOVR):

  • It is a spacecraft that orbits between the earth and the sun. The spacecraft observes and provides advanced warning of particles and solar wind emitted by the sun which can affect power grids, communications systems, and satellites close to Earth.
